6:30 p.m. Alumni Awards Banquet (Johnson Building) Join us as we celebrate the 2024 recipients of the Keeter Alumni Service Award and Distinguished Alumni Awards. (ticket required)
12:00-7:00 p.m. Registration (Moody Student Center) Register & receive your tickets & nametag. Purchase tickets for upcoming events.
5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday Night Festival (Newman-Richardson Lawn) Join us for food trucks (pay-as-you-go), inflatables, face painting, balloon art and more.
10-Year Reunion – Class of 2014: Join us at the Friday Night Festival where there will be designated tables for your class to fellowship with other 2014 alumni.
6:00 p.m. All-School SING (Behrens Auditorium) Box Office opens at 5:30. All seating is general admission. (ticket required)
6:00-8:15 p.m. Alumni Choir Rehearsal (Choral Suite-Hemphill Building) Rehearsal for the alumni choir will meet in the Choral Suite in the Hemphill building after having dinner in the new HSU Cafeteria from 5-6 p.m. RSVP for the alumni choir here.
6:30-8:30 p.m. Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner (Johnson Building) Celebrate the accomplishments of HSU athletes. (ticket required)
8:15 p.m. Pep Rally and Fireworks (Newman-Richardson Lawn) Come join the HSU Cheerleaders, Cowboy Band, Spurs, and Hoss as they gather the crowd before the fireworks begin. Homecoming Court will be presented.
9:00-10:30 p.m. Late Night Breakfast (Bridges Courtyard in front of Richardson Library) A twist on the popular Pancake Study Break, where purple pancakes will be served.
7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Registration (Moody Student Center) Register & receive your tickets & nametag. Purchase tickets for upcoming events. Pre-purchased tickets not picked up prior to the event will be moved to will-call.
7:30-8:30 a.m. ROTC/Military Veterans Informal Breakfast (Moody Center, Cafeteria) (ticket required)
9:00-11:00 a.m. Academic Showcase (Outside Moody Center) Meet up with friends and visit with academic departments at the Academic Showcase.
9:00-10 a.m. Parents-Only Breakfast (Presidents Dining Room in the Caf) Parents of current HSU students join us for breakfast. Register online for a nametag and to let us know you’re coming. (ticket required)
9:00-10:00 a.m. Cowboy Band Foundation Coffee and Meeting (Cowboy Band Hall). Come fellowship over coffee from 9:00-9:30 a.m. Meeting will be held from 9:30-10:00 a.m.

10:00-10:30 a.m. New Home for HSU Nursing Program: Dedication and Tours (Abilene Hall, 3rd Floor)
10:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m. “Chismeando” de HSU Brunch (Moody Center 227) Join the HSU Hispanic Assembly for conversation (in English or Spanish) & brunch with Hispanic alumni & friends. Scholarship recipients will be recognized as we enjoy brunch! (ticket required)
11:00-11:30 a.m. Alumni Choir Concert (Woodward-Dellis) Calling all those who have sung in HSU Choirs through the years. We are relaunching our HSU Alumni Choir Concert at Homecoming. We will rehearse on Friday evening, October 25, and perform the concert in Woodward-Dellis Recital Hall at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 16. Dr Loyd Hawthorne will be conducting. Click here to RSVP.
11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. New Buildings Open for Tours (Prichard Hall, Abilene Hall, and Newman-Richardson) Visit our new and renovated buildings. Prichard Hall is our new women’s residence hall. Abilene Hall is now home to our Engineering program and is being renovated on the third floor for HSU’s new Nursing program. Newman-Richardson has been renovated with new science labs for our students.

11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. HSU Cafeteria (Moody Cafeteria) The Cafeteria offers an all you can eat variety of foods in a calm, air-conditioned atmosphere. (ticket required)
11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. HSU Tailgate (Bridges Courtyard in front of Richardson Library) Come enjoy the HSU spirit squads, Cowboy Band, and the excitement of pre-game. (ticket required)
12:30 p.m. Football Pre-Game Festivities (Shelton Stadium)
Alumni Check-In (Fletcher Fitness Center Patio) Come “check-in” and get your free HSU Alumni swag. Alumni Check-in occurs everyone home game (30 minutes prior to kick-off – halftime).
Kids Zone (Fletcher Fitness Center) for children ages 2 and up. Bring your kids over to the Fletcher Fitness Center and let them run and play on our indoor soccer field.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
1:00 p.m. Football: HSU Cowboys vs. ETBU Tigers (Shelton Stadium) During halftime we will crown Homecoming King and Queen.(ticket required)
Sandefer Field House Dedication – 30 minutes after the football game ends (Sandefer Field House)
4:00-5:00 p.m. Late Registration Pick-Up (Moody 103)
5:00-6:30 p.m. Alumni & Friends Reception at the Annual Alumni Art Show (Frost Center, Ira M. Taylor Memorial Gallery)
6:00-8:00 p.m. Golden Lariat Society (Connally Missions Center) For all alumni and exes who have celebrated their 50th class reunion! (ticket required)
Class Reunion Dinners
Alumni from the reunion class as well as surrounding class years are invited to attend the reunion dinners. Some classes will have an organized program at their dinner while others will gather for dinner without a formal program. Sign up today to connect with classmates and reminisce about the ‘good ole’ days.
